I bought this to store shoes in my closet. It works perfectly for the. I was able to fit ankle boots women’s size 10. It was pretty simple to assemble although it did take some time but no screws or anything needed. My closet is very small I was able to customize the boxes to fit my closet. It’s good for inside closet setup. I don’t know if I would this as free standing furniture in any room. It was hard when assembling to get the boards all placed with even spacing.My husband is very good at figuring things out-I am not. But between the two of us we finally figured out what went were. but then several of the pieces were almost impossible to get to connect together. If it was jus me I would have given up on the whole mess and returned it. But luckily I am married to someone who makes up for my lack of abilities. that being said-this is a great product! Study and roomy.I got this so I could finally take my sneakers out of their boxes without feeling like they were exposed to DANGER!! hahaI am so glad I picked this up! It's easy to assemble and you can build it to fit whatever space/dimensions you need. Now I can finally SEE all my sneakers!!Only downside is that (and this is a small gripe) it's a snug fit for some pairs; And my Jordan 5s and 2s are just too tall to fit in a standard slot. But I got around that by putting those pairs on the top of the end slots...but all my dress shoes, Van's, adidas, and most of my sneakers fit perfectly.Definitely a must have for my closet from here on out.See my before and after photo. We were always tripping over shoes in my entry way. Way too many shoes (but like that’s ever a bad thing). As far as how to put this together it was simple. But it does require quite a bit of strength to snap some pieces into place. Took me (and all of my non muscles) about 1.5 hours to assemble. I bought 2 packages of 16 and made one bigger one and one small one. My husbands shoes fit one per slot, my shoes and kids shoes fit 2 per slot. Feels sturdy, and looks great. I want more now!5/1/20 - PLEASE BRING THE BLACK ONE BACK! I NEED 2 MORE! ?Instructions could have been a little more descriptive but overall pretty easy to put together. It was also more time consuming to put together than I thought. I have 2 extra bottom/top pieces & 1 back because I have all 15 boxes. It’s pretty sturdy & has a nice weight to it. Super easy to clean. Probably will order another one soon because I have more shoes.Product definitely serves a purpose but God forbid you try to transfer it in even the slightest way. The connectors just pop off and it’s almost like a domino affect after over an hours time worth of assembly. Other than falling apart easily, the materials in which the shoes are held is very durable, thick, and easy to clean.Love it, took me like a half hour to realize how to properly put it together (psh who reads manuals?). Definitely take your time when assembling it together. I wanted something cool to display my shoes in that kinda make a cool display too. This is a great and cheaper alternative to those clear shoe display boxes. Those can be $45 just for one box.
